I used to send to my mailing list an incoherent message ending with the link VIRUS.EXE. Most people deleted the message, others replied alarmistically, few of them understood the joke and clicked in.

This section is dedicated to some of my juvenile “analogic” works (most of them unfinished). A dark atmosphere prevails (we are just in the middle of the eighties), war is omnipresent, along with rigid weather, solitude and hibernation. That’s what I call Zeitgeist!
1 – Frozen Blood: I’ve always been struck by the odissey of the carton booted Italian soldiers marooned on the russian front: chilled witnesses of our homeland totalitarianism. Here Soviet anti-tank in action.
2 – Soviet of the Soldiers: Red stars on a foreign planet. The troop argues with the commander. Here I was sketching a vehicle.
3 – Tulani Siege: Another ambitious project: a sort of planetarian Stalingrad described in depht. Here a flag is raised over the ruins.
4- Tulani Siege 2: An inertial bullet shaped module approaches a battleship. Swarming Space Marines prepare to assault.
5 – Feuersturm 1886: A steam-powered vehicle raises from a discharge. A military nightmare of the XIX century.
6 – Vertical Infantry (Huntermouse): The theme of the Eternal War. Strategies to conquer the galaxy lacking Warp speed.
7 – Madison: Peace on Earth in 2101. An hibernating astronaut struggles against solitude.
8 – Earth Micro Defenders: An everlasting obsession: War in the Microcosmos. Here the main character, Irios/Madison/Omicron as I named him during the years.

I wrote this story in 1984 as a classic comic strip, black and white china ink drawings. The story was short, full of action and with an unexpected final, so I decided to remake it as a Flash anime. The model of the microcopter was generated with Mechanical Desktop 2.0.
This was my entry for the Swatch Flash.beat Internet Time competition. Unfortunately the judges didn’t like it, I hope you do. The file is a flash animation (480k), with about one minute and a half of animation, sounds and music.
