I made these drawings twenty years ago. It was a very productive period, I was trying to develop a personal style (maybe too much “overloaded”). There was a lot of pencil and pattern overlap. I still use some of the “pop art” patterns.
Yes, I knew birds opened foil capped bottles, not that they opened nuts by throwing ‘em down the window.
I love hunting spiders, I watch their alternating strategies. I admire their hysterical patience.
I’m frightened by viruses’ cold determination… Their mechanical love for life made of few proteins.
And all this is mirrored by your beautiful eyes…
While time crumbles under my sheets.
