I dreamt of this little girl, and in the dream I remembered about this girl I played with, and I told it to the others, friends, parents, but they could not remember, no way!..
So I searched for proofs, pictures, witnesses, but there were none, as if the little girl had never existed…
But inside the dream the answer was revealed to me: that girl had really existed, because I was that girl, me in another possible life, me a second before being generated…

In late 2000 I was contacted by Rachel Bellinsky, vocalist of Switchyard, a band from Las Vegas. She proposed me to elaborate a Flash animation starting from one of their songs. Finally it’s done! The song is beautiful, you can download both Lo-Fi (732k) and Hi-Fi (4.5M) versions.

As visitor’s bandwidth broadens I’m constructing a video section. This is the first mpeg, maybe a little raw. Animation was generated with Lightwave, and it lasts 6 long seconds. An update is expected in the next weeks. (mpeg, 911k) No soundtrack.
This section is dedicated to some of my juvenile “analogic” works (most of them unfinished). A dark atmosphere prevails (we are just in the middle of the eighties), war is omnipresent, along with rigid weather, solitude and hibernation. That’s what I call Zeitgeist!
1 – Frozen Blood: I’ve always been struck by the odissey of the carton booted Italian soldiers marooned on the russian front: chilled witnesses of our homeland totalitarianism. Here Soviet anti-tank in action.
2 – Soviet of the Soldiers: Red stars on a foreign planet. The troop argues with the commander. Here I was sketching a vehicle.
3 – Tulani Siege: Another ambitious project: a sort of planetarian Stalingrad described in depht. Here a flag is raised over the ruins.
4- Tulani Siege 2: An inertial bullet shaped module approaches a battleship. Swarming Space Marines prepare to assault.
5 – Feuersturm 1886: A steam-powered vehicle raises from a discharge. A military nightmare of the XIX century.
6 – Vertical Infantry (Huntermouse): The theme of the Eternal War. Strategies to conquer the galaxy lacking Warp speed.
7 – Madison: Peace on Earth in 2101. An hibernating astronaut struggles against solitude.
8 – Earth Micro Defenders: An everlasting obsession: War in the Microcosmos. Here the main character, Irios/Madison/Omicron as I named him during the years.
Two small pencil drawings scanned and transformed.
1 – RHYTHMIC GIRL. 2 -SWIMMING GIRL
This mpeg features the “camiciuzzu ‘e focu”, a folkloristic happening taking place in Calabria (southern Italy). Fireworks, scape goats and laughters! Courtesy of Carlo Serpieri.
Are we ready for “first contact”? Are aliens observing from above? This Flash Interactive answers it all. At present I lost the source code!

In 1997 Architects Pimpini, Roccatelli & Valenti where appointed to design Piazza Piaggio in the roman outskirts. They asked me to develop the structures of three metallic kiosks underneath a sun shade. Finally the piazza has been completed, and its worth a visit. I used program SAP90 to calculate the structures.
In 1995 I was in team with N.Cazzato, F.Delfini & G.Gentile. That year we won a design competition concerning an exposition facility. The result was this metal grid block protecting a nucleus of translucent plastic. The pavillon was built by Delfini Group and raised at Bologna during the SAIE kermesse.
A movie of the construction, shot and edited by M.T.Laudando, L.Tovoli, S.Pierini & A.Trapani, also exists. I’ll try to show an excerp of it some day in the future.
